Kaylan Thompson and Tony McCombs are announcing their engagement. She is the daughter of Gary and Joanne Thompson of Buffalo, Minn., and he is the son of Cherie Martin of Princeton and the late Randy McCombs of Metamora.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Buffalo, Minn., High School and a 2004 graduate of The Aveda Institute of Minneapolis. She is a hair stylist at The Hair District in Maple Grove, Minn.
Her fiancé graduated from Princeton High School in 2005 and from Illinois State University in 2010. He is a senior solutions specialist for MOTG-Xerox in Minnetonka, Minn.
The couple will be married March 1 at Barceló Huatulco Beach in Huatulco, Mexico. They will make their home in Golden Valley, Minn.
