Yorkville Wrestling Club opens on the mats

The Yorkville Wresting Club kicked off the season by giving back to its community, with over 80 wrestlers collecting clothing, toys, household items and food for Kendall County Food Pantry.

On Dec. 13, the Yorkville Wrestling Club competed in the Mad-Dog Open in Schaumburg. Hunter Janeczko stood out last weekend in his final match of the day with remarkable character as he competed against an opponent with autism. Other first-place finishers were: Brody Page, Evan Trejo, Jack Ferguson, Daniel Kraus, Garrett Range, Dominic Recchia, Luke Zook, Ty Edwards, Ryder Janeczko, Colten Stevens, Andrew Johnson and Manny Cervantes

Isaac Llamas and Kalik Villarreal finished third, as Logan Baggett, Brady Grayson, Cody Parker, Donncha Souza, Brady Cross, Brody Williams and Jackson Murphy all placed fourth.
