Warrant arrest
Ronald L. White, 42, of the 2000 block of Light Road, Oswego, was found to be wanted on a warrant from Kendall County on a charge of failure to appear at about 12:10 p.m. Nov. 20, Kendall County sheriff’s police said.
Two charged
Kendall County sheriff’s police responded Nov. 20 to the 0-99 block of Woodcliff Road, Boulder Hill, for a report of threats, reports said. After further investigation, Gregory B. Cantaberry Jr., 31, was charged with violating an order of protection and Cheryl Kiera Lona Cantaberry, 35, was charged with criminal trespass to real property, reports said.
Car in ditch
Moncia Zavala, 19, of the 100 block of Clark Street, Plano, was charged with having no valid driver’s license after a one-vehicle incident at about 6:55 a.m. Nov. 22 in the 3200 block of Cannonball Trail in Bristol Township, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. According to reports, Zavala’s vehicle slid off the roadway and into a ditch. She also was charged with driving too fast for conditions, reports said.
Hit and run
Someone struck a vehicle parked between Nov. 26 and 27 in the 0-99 block of Codorus Road, Boulder Hill, the owner told Kendall County sheriff’s police.
DUI charge
Alfred J. Evans, 34, of the 24000 block of Woodhall Court, Naperville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper parking on a roadway at about 1:10 a.m. Nov. 23 at Schlapp and Wheeler roads in Na-Au-Say Township south of Oswego, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. According to reports, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle parked in the roadway without lights on and found the driver asleep behind the wheel.
License suspended
Jaharie D. Smith-Jackson, 23, of the 600 block of Mansfield Way, Oswego, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop at about 10:15 p.m. Nov. 29 at Route 34 and Douglas Road in Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. According to reports, deputies stopped Smith-Jackson’s vehicle for having only one working headlight.
Two charged
Jesus M. Cepeda Jr., 21, of the 500 block of Seventh Avenue, Aurora, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop at about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 29 at Route 31 and River Run in Oswego Township, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. According to reports, Cepeda also was charged with speeding, having no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol. A passenger in the vehicle, Natalie Cerda, 19, of the 100 block of Kevin Lane, Oswego, was charged with illegal possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor, reports said.
License violation
Arcadio Vazquez, 48, of the 500 block of East New York Street, Aurora, was charged with having no valid driver’s license after a traffic stop at about 11:45 a.m. Nov. 27 at Route 71 and East Highpoint Road, Kendall County sheriff’s deputies said. Vazquez also was cited for improper lane usage, reports said.
Identity theft
Someone used personal information from a Yorkville man sometime in early November to obtain goods at a cellular phone store in Bristol Township without authorization, Kendall County sheriff’s police said.
DUI charge
Todd W. Ashcraft, 46, of the 200 block of South Commonwealth Avenue, Aurora, was charged with DUI and speeding after a traffic stop at about 8 p.m. Nov. 27 at Route 34 and Orchard Road in Bristol Township, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. According to reports, Ashcraft was driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Possession charge
Teresa A. Ruffo, 18, of the 2400 block of Summerwind Lane, Montgomery, was charged with possession of cannabis after a traffic stop at about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at Lakewood Creek and Oakmont drives in Bristol Township, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. According to reports, deputies stopped the driver for driving without headlights. A search of the vehicle revealed cannabis, the report said.
Property damage
Someone threw a steel pipe through a living room window at about 6:45 p.m. Nov. 25 in the 0-99 block of Codorus Road, Boulder Hill, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. No suspects have been identified, according to the report.
DUI charge
Jesus H. Nevarez, 44, of the 500 block of South Hale Street, Plano, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage at about 10:10 p.m. Nov. 25 at Schoolhouse and Stagecoach roads in Kendall Township, Kendall County sheriff’s police said.
DUI crash
Kaneshka Azizi, 30, of the 2000 block of Fox Pointe Drive, Aurora, was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident at about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 25 at Route 25 and Glendale Road, Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. According to reports, Azizi struck the rear of a car driven by John A. Burbidge, 44, of Plainfield, causing the Burbidge vehicle to roll over. Azizi then left the scene and was found in the 0-99 block of Wood Cliff Road, reports said. Azizi also was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, reports said. Burbidge was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for treatment, the report said.
Identity theft
A Lisbon Township woman told Kendall County sheriff’s police Nov. 25 that someone had acquired her personal information and a company called her claiming she owned them money. The case is under investigation, reports said.
Traffic charges
Michael J. Waters, 55, of Sheridan, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a traffic stop at about 5:10 a.m. Nov. 25 at Route 47 and Van Emmon Road in Bristol Township, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. According to reports, Waters was driving 53 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Possession charge
Octavio A. Rebollar, 20, of the 1100 block of Homer Avenue, Aurora, was charged with possession of cannabis at about 9:45 p.m. Nov. 24 at Saugatuck and Douglas Roads in Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff’s police said. According to reports, Rebollar was a passenger in a car involved in a traffic stop, and deputies and a K-9 unit found the cannabis in the vehicle.
Hit and run
Someone struck a vehicle parked between Nov. 24 and 25 in the 0-99 block of Scarsdale Road, Boulder Hill, the owner told Kendall County sheriff’s police. The car’s rear taillight was shattered and rear bumper was cracked and there was grayish-white paint transfer along the rear quarter panel, reports said.
