Family doctor retires after 40 years of practicing medicine in Joliet

JOLIET – After four decades of practicing medicine in Joliet, Dr. Steven S. Nemeth will retire on Sept. 30.

Nemeth started his first practice in Will County at the age of 25. At the time, the price of gasoline was 53 cents a gallon and a medical office visit was $24.

With many national recognitions for his skill as a doctor, Dr. Nemeth is known best by his patients for his sincere devotion to their health and well being.
