Glen Ellyn man returns to "Bachelor in Paradise"

Mike Tenerelli gets another chance at love

GLEN ELLYN – The Glen Ellyn man who was eliminated Aug. 16 from "Bachelor in Paradise" returned to the show Aug. 23 after producers decided to give him another chance at love.

After Juelia Kinney was eliminated, she ran into Mike Tenerelli, who told her that he was back because they "hit a spark in the beginning" and he wanted to give it another chance.

Kinney said that Tenerelli was her "knight in shinning armor" for coming back for her.

Producers bought back Tenerelli after Kinney expressed that she regretted not giving him a rose in the episode that aired Aug. 16.

"Bachelor in Paradise" is an ABC television show that puts former male and female contestants of the reality franchise in a resort in an attempt to create a romantic match, according to the show's website.

Tenerelli, known as "Mikey T," was also a contestant in Season 9 of "The Bachelorette."

Tenerelli grew up in Glen Ellyn. His family owns Caldwell Plumbing in Wheaton where he is vice president, and he is also the owner of CrossFit Alpha Dog in Lombard.
