BLOOMINGDALE – The Village of Bloomingdale announced Aug. 18 that the vacant space in the Stratford Crossing Shopping Center will soon be occupied by a Mariano's grocery store, according to a village news release.
The vacant 87,000-square-foot space located on the corner of Gary and Schick avenues was previously occupied by Dominick's, until the grocery store closed its doors on June 2012, according to the release.
The location is expected to open in early 2017, the release stated.
"The filling of the former Dominick’s location has been one of the top priorities for our Village Board," Bloomingdale Mayor Franco Coladipietro said in the release. "We are fortunate to add not just a dynamic new grocer, but a store that provides a culinary experience for foodies like me.”
