PRINCETON — Janice M. Van Dierendonck, 76, of Princeton died at 1:21 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born July 4, 1939, in Kewanee to Louis and Marjorie (Cosner) Ziegler, she married William Lee Van Dierendonck July 27, 1957, in Kewanee. He survives.
She graduated from Kewanee High School in 1957. She worked at Allen Lumber Company in Princeton for 32 1/2 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton. She enjoyed flower gardening.
Also surviving are one son, Randal (Kristina) Van Dierendonck of Mandeville, La.; one daughter, Cindy Van Dierendonck of Naperville; two grandchildren, William and Emily Van Dierendonck of Mandeville, La.; two sisters, Doris Kida of Kewanee and Joyce (Robert) Sadowski of Bellevue, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Brian Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in Princeton and Friends of Strays in Princeton.
