Child endangerment

Natalya Sergeyeva, 28, of the 7900 block of Woodlyn Drive, Woodridge, was charged at 7:58 p.m. June 30 with child endangerment at 7349 Lemont Road.

Battery

• A woman pushed hotel employees at 5:08 p.m. July 3 at Red Roof Inn, 1113 Butterfield Road.

• Victor K. Williams Jr., 36, of the 1100 block of Butterfield Road, Downers Grove, was charged at 8:52 p.m. July 2 with battery and disorderly conduct at Red Roof Inn, 1113 Butterfield Road.

Protective order violation

Victoria Shark, 67, of the 5300 block of Walnut Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged at 7 a.m. June 30 with two counts of violating an order of protection and violation of bail bond at her home.

Telephone harassment

• Unwanted calls and texts were received between noon June 23 and 7:42 p.m. July 7 at 4248 Belle Aire Lane.

• Several unwanted calls were received between 6:22 a.m. and 7:50 p.m. July 3 in the 7300 block of Fairview Avenue.

• A woman received threatening voicemails at 8:53 a.m. July 3 in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive.

Heroin possession

Scott W. Gabriel, 26, of the 6800 block of Springside Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged at 10:01 p.m. July 7 with possession of heroin, possession of drug equipment and speeding at 63rd and Main streets.

Marijuana possession

• Kyle David Dempsey, 23, of the 2700 block of Laurel Court, Woodridge, was charged at 7:41 a.m. July 8 with possession of marijuana, driving while license suspended and a traffic violation at Claremont Drive and Main Street.

• David P. Wasserman, 23, of the 1300 block of Fourth Street, Charleston, was charged at 1:27 a.m. July 4 with possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment at Route 53 and Butterfield Road.

Drug paraphernalia possession

A man with drug paraphernalia was reported between 9:25 and 10 a.m. July 5 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, 3815 Highland Ave.

Public drinking

• John D. Shiner, 51, of the 400 block of Northbridge Street, Elgin, was charged at 10:31 p.m. July 7 with drinking alcohol in a public place at the Main Street train station, 1000 Burlington Ave.

• John K. Schlachter, 61, of the 700 block of West Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 8:13 p.m. July 7 with drinking alcohol in a public place at the Main Street train station, 1000 Burlington Ave.

• Marvin R. Frazier, 55, of the zero block of Pinehurst Court, Burbank, was charged at 6:56 p.m. July 7 with drinking alcohol in a public place at the Main Street train station, 1000 Burlington Ave.

• Andrew C. Armstrong, 51, of the 700 block of North Trumbull Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 6:56 p.m. July 7 with drinking alcohol in a public place at the Main Street train station, 1000 Burlington Ave.

• John K. Schlachter, 61, of the 700 block of Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 2:33 p.m. July 4 with drinking alcohol in a public place at the Main Street train station, 1000 Burlington Ave.

Burglary

A purse, wallet, cellphone, cash and credit cards were stolen between 9 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. July 3 at 4711 Highland Ave.

Theft

• Rozella G. Depasquale-Myers, 57, of the 1400 block of Carriage Lane, Westmont, was charged at 4:11 p.m. July 8 with retail theft at 7349 Lemont Road.

• A bush was stolen between 8:15 a.m. July 1 and 8 a.m. July 8 at Washington Park, 835 Prairie Ave.

• A white, plastic cart was stolen between 2:25 and 2:54 p.m. July 7 at Jewel Osco, 1148 Ogden Ave.

• A bicycle was stolen between 7 and 10 a.m. July 4 at Downers Grove North High School, 4436 Main St.

• A laptop computer and charger were stolen between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. July 2 at Extended Stay America, 3150 Finley Road.

• Between $11,000 and $12,000 in cash was stolen from a safe between 10 a.m. June 13 and 10:15 a.m. July 2 in the 2800 block of Gabriella Street.

• Tovara I. McClendon, 20, of the 1000 block of South Williams Street, Westmont, was charged at 11:04 a.m. July 1 with retail theft at Home Depot, 2000 Butterfield Road.

• Michael R. Bosche, 30, of the 300 block of West Naperville Road, Westmont, was charged at 11:38 p.m. June 15 with theft at Another Round Bar and Grill, 5141 Main St.

Identity theft

• Two credit cards were fraudulently opened between 8 a.m. March 10 and 8:26 a.m. July 7 in the 6700 block of Bunker Hill Circle.

• A Social Security check was fraudulently cashed between 8 a.m. June 30 and 7:59 p.m. July 6 in the 1000 block of 55th Street.

• A woman used someone else's identification cards between 3 and 5:05 a.m. July 4 to attempt to check into Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, 3815 Highland Ave.

• Unauthorized purchases were made on a debit card between 7 a.m. July 2 and 10 a.m. July 3 at 5812 Plymouth Road.

• Unauthorized purchases were made on a credit card between midnight and 11:59 p.m. June 30 at 1728 Whidden Ave.

Property damage

• Two cars were scratched between 11 p.m. July 7 and 10 a.m. July 8 at 4020 Earlston Road.

• A large boulder was thrown through a window of a vehicle between 8:30 p.m. July 7 and 1 a.m. July 8 at 740 40th St.

• A window of a house was broken at 9 p.m. July 6 at 4936 Francisco Ave.

• The rear passenger window of a vehicle was shattered between 6 a.m. and 12:49 p.m. July 6 at Red Roof Inn, 1113 Butterfield Road.

• Several street signs were damaged between 8 p.m. July 4 and 3:30 p.m. July 5 at 216 Lincoln Ave.

• Two mailboxes were damaged between 10:20 and 10:38 p.m. July 4 in the 1900 block of Hitchcock Avenue.

• A firework was launched into a window of a neighboring home at 9:11 p.m. July 4 in the 6000 block of Chase Avenue.

• A vehicle door was damaged between 9 p.m. July 3 and 3 a.m. July 4 at Red Roof Inn, 1113 Butterfield Road.

• The touch screen on a Redbox was damaged at 6:30 a.m. June 30 at Walgreens, 1000 Ogden Ave.

Trespassing

• Several juveniles were seen between 9 and 9:30 p.m. July 4 on the roof of Herrick Middle School, 4435 Middaugh Ave.

• Michael J. Pappas, 52, of the 9S100 block of Florence Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged at 10:45 a.m. July 3 with trespassing at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, 3815 Highland Ave.

• Three teenagers entered an unlocked vehicle at 5:51 a.m. July 3 at 5802 Middaugh Ave.

Disorderly conduct

• William Henry Boor III, 42, of the 4700 block of Highland Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged at 10:30 a.m. July 7 with disorderly conduct, driving with an expired license and following too closely at Ogden and Fairview avenues.

• Eggs were thrown at a house between midnight and 1 a.m. July 5 in the 4600 block of Washington Street.

• An unknown person knocked on a door between 11:43 and 11:49 p.m. July 3 at 7333 Northgate Way.

Suspicious incident

• A man requested money be delivered to a business at 2:24 p.m. July 7 at 5708 Plymouth St.

• A doorbell was rung numerous times at 2:30 p.m. July 3 at 719 72nd St.

• Alcohol was sold out of the back of a closing business at 12:45 p.m. July 3 at United Liquors, 6218 Main St.

• A woman reported being followed and photographed between 11:18 and 11:30 a.m. July 2 in the 1900 block of Loomes Avenue.

Suspended license

• Thomas O. Duffy, 52, of the 800 block of Curtiss Street, Downers Grove, was charged at 9:24 a.m. June 30 with driving while license suspended at 17 W. Ogden Ave., Westmont.

• Tony Ilkham, 49, of the 7000 block of Sussex Court, Woodridge, was charged at 4:03 a.m. June 29 with driving while license suspended at 63rd Street and Janes Avenue.

No license

• Francisco J. Hernandez, 42, of the 2000 block of Balmoral Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 3:42 a.m. June 30 with driving without a license and a traffic violation at 41st Street and Highland Avenue.

• Mauricio Z. Duran, 21, of the 200 block of West Naperville Road, Westmont, was charged at 1:22 a.m. June 30 with driving without a license and improper lane use at Roslyn Road and Ogden Avenue.

• Nuri Salgado, 33, of the 2000 block of Balmoral Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 12:08 a.m. June 30 with driving without a license, operating a vehicle without insurance and a traffic violation at Main Street and Lincoln Avenue.

Complaint

A woman complained a neighbor almost hit her niece and nephew with a car at 6:30 p.m. July 2 in the 4100 block of Sterling Road. Video surveillance showed the report was unfounded.

Found property

A cellphone, charger and keys were found between 6:29 p.m. July 4 and 2:30 p.m. July 5 at 430 Chicago Ave.
