Battery

• Ahmed Hassan Madhaji, 20, of the 1200 block of East Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, was charged at 10:20 p.m. June 17 with domestic battery in the 1200 block of East Roosevelt Road.

• A man innapropriately touched a vendor at 7:30 a.m. June 14 at Building 1 of the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 W. Manchester Road.

DUI

Brandon R. Steffen, 28, of the 100 block of Jefferson Avenue, Big Rock, was charged at 2:22 a.m. June 20 with driving under the influence of alcohol at Butterfield and Orchard roads.

Controlled substance possession

Brianna M. Kozi, 18, of the 500 block of Edgewood Avenue, Lombard, was charged at 12:01 a.m. June 10 with possession of a controlled substance in the 1500 block of Coloma Court South.

Burglary

• A wallet was stolen from an unsecured vehicle between 6:30 p.m. June 10 and 7:30 a.m. June 11 at the DuPage County Courthouse and Administration Buidling, 505 N. County Farm Road.

• Several items were stolen from an unsecured vehicle between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. June 9 at 1300 N. West St.

Theft

• A vehicle was stolen between 11:30 a.m. and 1:39 p.m. June 17 at Hines Supply, 703 W. Wesley St., then found later that day at about 5:10 p.m. at 570 E. Thornhill Drive in Carol Stream.

• Several tires were stolen between 7 p.m. June 12 and 9:47 a.m. June 13 from Merlin Muffler, 1606 N. Main St.

• An unsecured bicycle was stolen between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 10 in the 800 block of East Pershing Avenue.

Fraud

• Elvin M. Gholston, 29, of the 500 block of Geneva Avenue, Bellwood, was charged at 10:30 p.m. June 10 with credit card fraud and possession of marijuana at Main Street and Roosevelt Road.

• A tax return was discovered to have been fraudulently filed at 3 p.m. Aug. 14, 2014, in the 300 block of Whirlaway Court.

Property damage

• The passenger side front and rear doors of a parked vehicle were damaged between 8:30 a.m. June 18 and 5:15 p.m. June 19 at 509 N. County Farm Road.

• Two mailboxes were broken between 10 p.m. June 14 and 5:45 a.m. June 15 in the 400 block of Thomas Road.

Warrant

• Robert O. Land, 60, of the 200 block of Spring Court, North Aurora, was arrested at 6:15 p.m. June 12 on warrant and charged as a fugitive from justice at McDonald's, 2175 W. Roosevelt Road.

• Lisa A. Rodriguez, 40, of the 700 block of East Benton Street, Aurora, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. June 11 on warrant and charged with speeding at Butterfield and West Loop roads.
