NEW LENOX – A Homer Glen man has been charged with marijuana possession and production after a month-long investigation by the New Lenox Police Department.

New Lenox police Wednesday arrested Dino Yario, 45, of 14915 Cog Hill Lane in Homer Glen after a search warrant was executed at his home, police said in a news release Thursday.

During their search, police found about 50 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, drug equipment and distribution paraphernalia, police said.

“The investigation was a result of information gathered of drug activity in the New Lenox area,” police stated in the news release.

Yario was charged with possession of more than 5,000 grams of marijuana and unauthorized production or possession of more than 50 marijuana plants.

He was taken to the Will County Jail, pending a bond hearing.
