Battery
Guadalupe Delgado, 36, of the 600 block of Nez Perce Court, Carol Stream, was charged at 7:56 p.m. May 1 with driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated battery, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at Woodridge and Roberts drives.
Theft
• A purse was reported stolen at 11:30 a.m. May 1 from an unattended shopping cart at the GFS Marketplace, 2525 87th St.
• A license plate was reported stolen May 1 from the rear of a vehicle parked in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue.
• An iPhone was reported stolen between midnight and 7 a.m. May 2 after it was left unattended in the 6600 block of Woodridge Drive.
• Vivian Niestrom, 18, of the 300 block of Cliff Court, Lisle, was charged at 11:57 a.m. May 2 with retail theft after allegedly stealing several items of jewelry from Kohl's, 1001 75th St.
• A wallet was reported stolen at 12:49 p.m. May 2 after it fell out of someone's pocket and another person picked it up from the floor of Kohl's, 1001 75th St.
• Building supplies were reportedly stolen from a company pick-up truck between 4:30 p.m. May 1 and 6 a.m. May 4 while it was parked at Advanced Telecom Solutions, 10350 Rising Court.
DUI
Juan Francisco-Moreno, 26, of the 100 block of Pinecrest Road, Bolingbrook, was charged at 1:30 a.m. May 3 with DUI of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving while license suspended following the investigation of a traffic accident at Waterbury Drive and Janes Avenue.
Property damage
Paint was reported splattered across the rear of a building at 8:30 a.m. May 3 at Cypress Cove Water Park, 8301 Janes Ave.
LISLE
Controlled substance possession
James D. Washington, 23, of the 1100 block of Allen Avenue, West Chicago, was charged at 1:09 a.m. May 2 with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at Route 53 and Lisle Place. During the same incident, Jose Macias, 23, of the 800 block of South Main Street, Sugar Grove, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding.
BOLINGBROOK
Battery
• Kelsey Weeks, 19, of the 1000 block of Canham Street, Plano, was charged May 4 with battery as a result of a previous incident that occurred on April 13 in the 100 block of Wedgewood Way.
• A juvenile was reported tackled to the ground and punched several times at 3:40 p.m. May 6 while walking home in the 200 block of Recreation Drive.
• Joyce Foster, 36, of the 300 block of Highknob Road, Bolingbrook, was charged at 3:31 p.m. May 3 with domestic battery and aggravated assault following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Highknob Road.
• Walter Finney Jr., 20, of the 100 block of Somerset Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged at 4:42 p.m. May 4 with disorderly conduct, battery and criminal damage to property and arrested on two in-state warrants following a report at a business in the 300 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.
Robbery
• A purse was reported stolen at 12:44 p.m. April 30 after someone approached a person in the 500 block of Seneca Lane, grabbed the person by the hair, took the purse and ran off.
• Cash was reported stolen at 12:19 a.m. May 2 after several people approached a person at Beaconridge and Bolingbrook drives, displayed a gun, took $481 in cash from the person's pocket and drove off.
Burglary
• Collette Fugger, 30, of the 200 block of Waterman Drive, Bolingbrook, and Matthew Leinweber, 31, of the 100 block of Fairwood Drive, Bolingbrook, each were charged at 2:41 a.m. May 2 with burglary to a motor vehicle and criminal trespass to a vehicle following a report in the 300 block of Wildflower Lane.
• A laptop, camera and cash, a total value of $1,300, were reported stolen between midnight and 2 a.m. May 3 from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Thornhurst Road.
• Three iPods and a cellphone were reported stolen at 2:51 a.m. May 5 from a vehicle in a driveway in the 300 block of Pierce Drive. The suspect ran off after the owner of the vehicle saw the person rummaging through the car.
Theft
• A wallet was reported stolen at 6:55 pm. May 1 from a diaper bag in the 200 block of West Briarcliff Road.
• An iPad mini, valued at $275, was reported stolen between May 1 and May 2 from a home on Vermont Circle.
• Kirsten Jeanfreau, 18, of the 900 block of Brassfield Avenue, Romeoville, was charged at 7:19 p.m. May 3 with retail theft from Macy’s, 645 E. Boughton Road.
• Rented furniture was reported not returned May 4 at a business in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.
• Three bottles of cologne, a total value of $364, were reported stolen at 2:47 p.m. May 5 from a display at Ulta, 641 E. Boughton Road.
• Several packages of white strips and hair products, a total value of $450, were reported stolen at 8:30 p.m. May 5 from Jewel-Osco, 1200 W. Boughton Road.
• A 1997 Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen between 1:09 and 1:15 p.m. May 6 in the 600 block of East Boughton Road.
DUI
Joseph Cholewa, 66, of the 300 block of Merlin Court, was charged at 1 p.m. May 5 with DUI of alcohol, no insurance, no valid driver's license and improper lane use after a traffic stop in the 500 block of North Ashbury Road.
Property damage
• Carlos Hernandez, 21, of the 300 block of Plumtree Court, Bolingbrook, was charged at 4:35 p.m. April 30 with criminal damage to a vehicle in the 300 block of West Briarcliff Road.
• A vehicle's antenna was reported removed and the windshield struck at 6:16 a.m. May 3 in the 100 block of Delaware Drive.
• A 17-year-old was charged at 8:38 p.m. April 26 with criminal damage to property in the 300 block of Plumtree Court.
Warrant arrest
• Ludwig Taraceno-Teo, 30, of the 200 block of Tallman Avenue, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:23 a.m. May 2 on an in-state warrant after a traffic stop at Route 53 and Interstate 55.
• Jacob Sorbel, 19, of the 0 to 100 block of Vermont Circle, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. May 3 on an in-state warrant after a traffic stop at Winston Drive and Hampshire Lane.
• Antonio Sosa-Rodriguez, 24, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:07 a.m. May 4 on an in-state warrant after a traffic stop at Route 53 and I-55.
• Jose Leon Magana Jr., 18, of the 400 block of North Maggie Lane, Romeoville, was arrested at 12:27 p.m. May 6 on an in-state warrant after a traffic stop at Weber Road and Remington Boulevard.
Marijuana possession
Terrence Mann, 29, of the 400 block of Nassau Avenue, Bolingbrook, was charged at 11:27 p.m. May 5 with unlawful possession of marijuana, delivery of marijuana, possession of drug equipment and resisting a peace officer after a traffic stop in Lot D of Fernwood Drive. During the same incident, Carl Rutherford, 37, of the 300 block of Hanover Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a peace officer.
Forgery
Anthony Arceneaux III, 20, of the 0 to 100 block of Bosi Court, Bolingbrook, and Aubrey Watson, 29, of the 0 to 100 block of Fernwood Drive, Bolingbrook, each were charged at 2:53 p.m. May 4 with forgery after allegedly attempting to pass a counterfeit bill in the 300 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.
Criminal trespass
Cesar Ramirez-Valdez, 30, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged at 5:01 a.m. May 2 with criminal trespass to a residence following a report of an unwanted subject in the 200 block of Blackberry Drive.
Resisting a peace officer
• Casey Dobczyk, 29, of the 1400 block of Burger Avenue, Joliet, was charged at 2:17 a.m. May 3 with resisting a peace officer following a report of people fighting in a parking lot in the 1000 block of South Weber Road.
• Jerrold Rose, 24, of the 600 block of West Ridge Road, Gary, Ind., was charged at 11:39 a.m. May 4 with resisting a peace officer, disobeying a traffic sign, defective windshield and failure to signal after a traffic stop in the 400 block of Stevenson Drive.
Drug equipment possession
Tyler Newberry, 21, of the 100 block of Glen Lake Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged at midnight May 1 with possession of drug equipment after a traffic stop at Quadrangle Drive and Remington Boulevard.
