DIXON – Evan Grady, 18, of Dixon, is Dixon High School's March Student of the Month. He is the son of Michael and Renee Grady, and has two brothers, Aaron and Collin.
Favorite class: AP U.S. History. It was a very thought-provoking class and it was very interesting because we saw how history can repeat itself and the lessons we can learn from what the past has to offer.
Least-favorite class: AP Calculus
School activities: Cross country, track and field, and B.L.I.N.D., (Building Lasting Impressions That Never Die)
Civic, church, volunteer or activities: I usher at church sometimes.
Do you have a job? No
What will you do after high school? I am thinking about going to the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and I am still undecided on my major.
What is something you learned in high school that you think you will never use? I do not think I will ever need to find the volume of a solid revolving around the x axis using the disk method, courtesy of AP Calculus.
What kind of music are you listening to? All sorts of music, but a little less country.

What scares you? Snakes. They have such soulless eyes, but they are fascinating.
If you could ask President Obama any question, what would it be? How's your day going?
If you could try any job for a day, what would it be? CEO of Apple Inc.
What is your proudest moment? My proudest moment was probably during last year's track season when I was part of the four-by-eight team that set the school record. I was part of a great team and we all set the goal at the beginning of the season, and to achieve that goal was a great feeling.
