MORRIS – Dr. Andrea L. Chen and Dr. Jody De Lind have joined Morris Hospital Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, a practice of five obstetrician/gynecologists with office locations in Morris, Channahon, Ottawa and Yorkville.

As obstetrician/gynecologists, Chen and De Lind specialize in the care of women including reproduction and infertility, normal and high risk pregnancy care, women’s preventive care, hormonal disorders, all birth control options, sterilization, menopause and gynecologic problems, according to a news release.

The Morris Hospital Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists practice also includes Dr. Victoria Ochoa, Dr. Leticia Setrini-Best and Dr. Douglas Toussaint. Chen is a graduate of Rush University. She completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rush University Medical Center, followed by a two-year fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz.

A native of Naperville, Chen said she was looking for an opportunity in Illinois when she discovered Morris Hospital. “I felt Morris Hospital provided the best opportunity for me,” Chen said in the release. “I was very impressed by the hospital and the services offered to patients.”

De Lind is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also completed a four-year obstetrics and gynecology residency at Rush University Medical Center.

De Lind practiced at Phoenix Indian Medical Center in Arizona for two years before joining the Morris office.

De Lind is a native of Michigan and said she is very happy with her decision to come to Morris Hospital. "I was instantly impressed with Morris Hospital, not only with the quality of care but also the strong sense of community involvement,” De Lind said in the release. “As someone who grew up in a small town, being part of a welcoming community was very important to me.”

De Lind and Chen both see patients in the Morris office at 237 W. Waverly St. In addition, De Lind has office hours at the Morris Hospital Ridge Road Campus, 27240 W. Saxony Drive in Channahon, and Chen sees patients at the Morris Hospital Yorkville Campus, 105 Saravanos Drive in Yorkville.
