DeKALB – A DeKalb man was charged with 35 counts of sexual assault of a child that stretch back to 2012.

Jeremy M. Westbrook, 40, of the 1300 block of north Annie Glidden Road, was arrested Friday after the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office learned of a Department of Children and Family Services report involving Westbrook and a 13-year-old that involved sexual abuse allegations, according to a police report.

After the interview, Westbrook was charged with 35 counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, with charges stemming back to April 2012, according to the report.

Westbrook is in the DeKalb County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
