Police reports: Lombard for Feb. 20

Battery

• Christopher Klein, 23, 631 E. Prairie Ave., was charged at 2:06 p.m. Jan. 31 with domestic battery and unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence in the 600 block of East Prairie Avenue after allegedly striking someone during an argument.

• A juvenile accused of battery was issued a trespassing warning and escorted off property at 3:43 p.m. Jan. 31 at Carson’s, 230 Yorktown Shopping Center.

• An incident involving domestic battery was reported at 11:22 p.m. Jan. 31 in the 800 block of West Foxworth Boulevard.

DUI

• Felipe Duran-Martinez, 42, 1639 S. Michigan Ave., Villa Park, was charged at 1:21 p.m. Jan. 30 with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use at Roosevelt Road and Main Street.

• Eugeniusz Szewczk, 59, 416 Chapel St., Marengo, was charged at 1:55 p.m. Jan. 31 with DUI of alcohol and improper lane use at Columbine Avenue and Pleasant Lane.

Property damage

Dion Wallace, 22, 230 Milford Lane, Bloomingdale, was charged at 12:46 a.m. Jan. 30 with criminal damage to vehicle after allegedly smashing the windshield of a vehicle in the 500 block of Lodge Lane. Amanda Maple, 19, 1007 N. Harvard Ave., Villa Park, was arrested at the same time and date on an unspecified warrant from the Addison Police Department at the same location.

Fraud

A fraudulent call was reported at 7:37 p.m. Jan. 30 in the 100 block of South Westmore Avenue. The call claimed the victim’s computer had been hacked, and the victim provided his credit card information to have it fixed.

Theft

• Files were reportedly stolen between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 23 from a medical office at 1196 S. Main St.

• A purse was reported stolen at 3:48 p.m. Jan. 31 from a shopping cart at Marshalls, 102 Yorktown Shopping Center.

Order of protection violation

John Rafatcz, 43, 2126 W. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, was charged at 6:03 a.m. Jan. 30 with violation of an order of protection in the 400 block of East Roosevelt Road.

Marijuana possession

A juvenile was charged at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 30 with unlawful possession of marijuana at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St.

Domestic dispute

A dispute regarding visitation was reported at 8:22 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Lombard Police Department, 235 E. Wilson Ave.

Disturbance

• A dispute was reported at 11:56 a.m. Jan. 30 at T-Mobile, 221 E. Roosevelt Road.

• An argument was reported at 7:43 p.m. Jan. 31 in the 300 block of East Central Avenue.

Solicitation

A solicitor was reportedly requesting money at 2:05 p.m. Jan. 31 at Meyers and Butterfield roads.

Traffic violations

• Teodoro Martinez, 22, 504 W. Division St., Villa Park, was charged at 11:53 p.m. Jan. 30 with driving with a suspended license and improper lighting at Roosevelt Road and Westmore Avenue.

• Cyrus Corbin, 22, 2103 S. 23rd Ave., Broadview, was charged at 11:59 p.m. Jan. 30 with driving with a suspended license, improper lighting and uninsured motor vehicle at Main and 22nd streets.

Juvenile complaint

• Juveniles were reportedly throwing smoke bombs at 7:13 p.m. Jan. 31 in the 300 block of West Potomac Avenue.

• A juvenile reportedly left a firecracker on a doorstep at 7:53 p.m. Jan. 31 in the 200 block of West North Avenue.

Found property

A metal cutter was placed in property at 5:12 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Lombard Police Department, 235 E. Wilson Ave.
