GLEN ELLYN – The Village of Glen Ellyn has appointed Christina Coyle as its new finance director, the village announced in a news release.
As finance director, Coyle will oversee the village’s $52 million annual budget, accounting and auditing functions, financial forecasting, and by Village Code, will also serve as the Village’s Budget Officer and Treasurer.
Coyle was the village’s assistant finance director before serving as the village’s interim finance director since June. Prior to that, Coyle was a manager in the public auditing practice at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP in Oak Brook.
Coyle is an accountant and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she double-majored in finance and French.
