BARRINGTON – Area residents are invited to join the owners of The Pink Geranium & Co., at a grand opening celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at their new location, 829 W. Northwest Highway, in Barrington.
The event will consist of light refreshments, "charming giveaways and drawings," and gift certificates, according to a news release.
Opening for business earlier that same day, at 9 a.m., the store will offer a unique collection of art, antiques, accessories and vintage finds, the release says.
The business has been a joint effort of three local businesswomen, Karin Cumming, Diane McKillen, and Kathie Perkins.
Cumming said the store is "so much more than a place."
"It's an experience," Cumming said. "We've designed an environment we love and we are eager to share it with the community."
