Controlled substance possession
• Heather Zamet, 22, 1030 Margaret St., Des Plaines, was charged at 9:03 p.m. Sept. 3 with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of West Roosevelt Road. Jesse Saviola, 22, 231 E. North Ave., Lombard, also was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Derek Windsor, 31, 1440 W. Galena Blvd., Aurora, was charged at 4:32 p.m. Sept. 12 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of East Roosevelt Road.
DUI
Andy Nunez, 23, 223 Grand Ave., Northlake, was charged at 12:55 p.m. Sept. 9 with driving under the influence, no valid driver’s license, speeding, failure to signal, obstructed view and a cracked windshield at North Avenue and Route 83.
Marijuana possession
Kenneth Larsen, 49, 0S051 Woodvale St., Winfield, and Joshua Beck, 35, 901 W. North Ave., both were charged at 5:37 p.m. Sept. 11 with possession of marijuana at Westmore Avenue and James Street. Larsen also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Drug paraphernalia possession
• Kyle Slenczka, 18, 1165 Robin Drive, Carol Stream, was charged at 3:59 p.m. Sept. 7 with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia in the 00 block of South Villa Avenue.
• Jesse Saviola, 22, 231 E. North Ave., Lombard, was charged at 9:03 p.m. Sept. 3 with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of West Roosevelt Road.
Possession of stolen property
• Thomas Manaras, 30, 22952 Judith Drive, Plainfield, was arrested on a warrant Sept. 10 on charges of criminal trespass to motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, driving while license revoked and improper registration at 11:02 p.m. Aug. 3 at Walmart, 900 S. Route 83.
• Jessica Bellanger, 635 S. Villa Ave., was arrested on a warrant Sept. 11 for a charge of possession of stolen property at 3:22 p.m. Aug. 1 at St. Charles Road and Monterey Avenue.
Theft by deception
Daniel Pivaral, 22, 120 S. Lalonde Ave., Addison, was charged at 3:21 p.m. Sept. 7 with attempted theft by deception at Walmart, 900 S. Route 83.
Retail theft
• Emily Weigan, 21, 625 N. Grace St., Lombard, was charged at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 10 with retail theft at Walmart, 900 S. Route 83.
• Nicole Martinez, 39, 1110 E. Maple St., Lombard, was charged at 5:34 p.m. Sept. 13 with retail theft at Walmart, 900 S. Route 83.
Theft
• Christopher Lukes, 24, 221 30th St., Bellwood, was arrested on a warrant Sept. 10 on charges of theft at 11:34 a.m. April 9 in the 100 block of West Roosevelt Road.
• A battery was taken from a parked vehicle between 12:01 and 4 a.m. Sept. 7 in the 400 block of West Division Street.
• A cellphone was taken from an unsecured locker in the boys locker room 1:40 p.m. Sept. 4 at Willowbrook High School, 1250 S. Ardmore Ave.
• A cellphone was taken from a bench at the skate park at 2:12 p.m. Sept. 7 at 335 N. Iowa Ave..
• A mountain bike was taken from a yard between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 11 in the 200 block of South Monterey Avenue.
• Two Stihl backpack leaf blowers were taken from a flatbed landscaping truck between 8 and 9 a.m. Sept. 12 in the 500 block of South Ardmore Avenue.
Burglary
A cellphone was taken from the center console of an unlocked vehicle between 11:15 and 11:25 a.m. Sept. 7 in the 300 block of West St. Charles Road.
Domestic battery
Gary Stallings, 62, of the 900 block of North Ardmore Avenue, was charged at 4 p.m. Sept. 13 with domestic battery.
Hit and run
Zalatiel Avelar-Behena, 58, 413 N. Iowa Ave., was charged at 12:43 p.m. Sept. 7 with no valid driver’s license and hit and run with a vehicle in the 100 block of West North Avenue.
Disorderly conduct
Patrick Fleming, 51, 1021 Des Plaines Ave., Forest Park, was charged at 11:34 p.m. Sept. 9 with disorderly conduct in the 00 block of West St. Charles Road.
Criminal damage
• A landscaping brick was thrown through a front window at 2 a.m. Sept. 7 in the 200 block of West Division Street.
• A rear door was damaged between noon Aug. 31 and noon Sept. 5 in the 600 block of Ridge Road.
• A pellet or BB gun was used to make a small dent in a vehicle fender at 10 p.m. Sept. 13 at Roosevelt Road and Summit Avenue.
Criminal defacement
Graffiti was spray painted on two benches at noon Sept. 9 at Twin Lakes Park.

• Samuel Juarez-Solis, 32, 20 W. Terrace St., was charged at 7:23 p.m. Sept. 9 with no valid driver’s license, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Ardmore Avenue and Hill Street.
• Luiz Samaniego, 19, 694 W. Roy Drive, was charged at 3:28 p.m. Sept. 10 with driving while license suspended and failure to signal at Addison and Ridge roads.

• Tanya Shaffer, 33, 4649 W. Patterson Ave., Chicago, was charged at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 13 with driving while license suspended, improper U-turn and improper stopping in the roadway in the 00 block of Roosevelt Road.
