DUI
• Lawrence Jones, 20, of the 400 block of Englewood Avenue, Bellwood, was charged with driving too fast for conditions, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of drugs at 12:04 a.m. May 21 at Lake Street and Interstate 290.
• Shawn Crall, 38, of the 0 to 100 block of East Gobel Drive, Lombard, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper stopping in the roadway at 2:29 a.m. May 21 in the 200 block of South Monterey Avenue.
• James Beasley, 41, of the 400 block of Geneva Avenue, Bellwood, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane usage at 1:33 a.m. May 24 at Interstate 290 and Route 83.
• Andrew Johnson, 23, of the 400 block of Conservatory Lane, Aurora, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane use at 3:46 a.m. May 24 at Harrison Street and Linden Avenue after police found his vehicle in a ditch.
• Michael Godinez-Llamas, 21, of the 1500 block of Jay Avenue, Melrose Park, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a traffic control device, leaving the scene of an accident and not having insurance at 8:35 p.m. May 24 at West and Grantley avenues.
• Jairo Rivas-Gomez, 31, of the 1000 block of Ferrari Drive, Bensenville, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, not having a valid driver's license, not having insurance, suspended registration and improper turning at 12:16 a.m. May 25 at Grand Avenue and Church Road.
• Douglas R. Johnson, 52, of the 600 block of Michigan Avenue, Villa Park, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use at 4:32 a.m. May 26 at St. Charles Road and York Street.
• Miguel A. Mendiola-Mendiv, 29, of the 1000 block of South Riverside Drive, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and not having insurance at 6:18 a.m. May 26 at Commonwealth Lane and Butterfield Road.
Battery, domestic battery
• Tonya Denise Tedder, 50, of the 400 block of Lionsgate Drive, Colorado Springs, Colo., was charged with battery at 11:15 a.m. May 20 at York Street and Crestview Avenue.
• Jasmine L. Bills, 20, of the 600 block of North Wolf Road, Hillside, was charged with battery at 6:40 p.m. May 21 in the 100 block of South Prospect Avenue.
• Kevin Kral, 49, of the 600 block of South York Street, was charged with domestic battery at 11:24 p.m. May 22 at his home.
• Philip Moroney, 29, of the 300 block of Oaklawn Avenue, was charged with domestic battery at 2:21 a.m. May 25 in the 200 block of East Lexington Street.
• Anthony Amato, 56, of the 2400 block of Rhodes Avenue, River Grove, was charged with aggravated battery, not wearing a seat belt, transporting open alcohol, resisting an officer and impending traffic at 12:31 a.m. May 23 at North and Myrtle avenues.
Marijuana possession
• Damion Wahl, 20, of the 1500 block of Marquette Road, Joliet, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:58 a.m. May 19 at St. Charles Road and Holly Avenue. A minor was also charged with possession of marijuana and violating curfew. Brandon Petrovic, 19, of the 400 block of East Church Street, was taken into custody on a failure to appear warrant for obstructing justice and resisting arrest.
• Diana Renteria, 22, of the 200 block of South Cranberry Street, Bolingbrook, was charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a controlled substance at 6:37 p.m. May 19 at York and Schiller streets after she was found to have a Hydromorphone pill. Jonathan Balderman, 25, of the 500 block of North Emroy Avenue was charged with possession of marijuana and attempting to obstruct justice. Tyler Balderman, 23, of the 200 block of South Cranberry Street, Bolingbrook, was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Lori Disanti, 28, of the 2700 block of Calwagner Street, Franklin Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and using a communication device while driving at 11:24 p.m. May 19 at North and Melrose avenues.
• Luis Solis, 28, of the 1500 block of South Grove Avenue, Berwyn, was charged with possession of marijuana and not wearing a seat belt at 11:35 p.m. May 22 at North and Villa avenues. Luis Diaz, 21, and Alfredo Solis, 25, both of the 1500 block of South Grove Avenue, Berwyn, were also charged with not wearing seat belts.
• A 17-year-old was cited for violating curfew, possession of marijuana and possession of tobacco at 2:04 a.m. May 24 at Willow Road and Belden Avenue.
• Marcus Jenkins, 35, of the 600 block of West St. Charles Road, Lombard, was charged with possession of marijuana and was found to be wanted out of DuPage County on a failure to appear traffic warrant at 1:42 a.m. May 26 at North and Highland avenues.
Drug paraphernalia possession
Lamont Hampton, 18, of the 300 block of East Yorkfield Avenue, was charged with not having brake lights, not having insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:22 a.m. May 23 at Cottage Hill Avenue and Harbour Terrace.
Open alcohol possession
Timothy J. Scruggs, 29, of the 1100 block of South Julia Drive, Villa Park, was charged with possession of open alcohol in public at 4:59 p.m. May 19 in the 400 block of North York Street.
Disorderly conduct
Dale Halker, 56, of the 200 block of East North End Avenue, was cited for disorderly conduct at 11:03 p.m. May 26 at York and Schiller streets after urinating in an alley.
Underage drinking
• Michael Ross, 18, of the 100 block of North Clinton Avenue, and Emily Kosich, 19, of the 400 block of South Prospect Avenue, were cited for consumption of alcohol by minors at 12:04 a.m. May 24.
• Kevin Caskey, 19, of the 0 to 100 block of North Tower Road, Oak Brook, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 2:06 a.m. May 26 at St. Charles Road and Hagans Avenue.
Possession of alcohol by minor
Salvatore F. Vilona, 19, of the 700 block of North Eastland Street, was charged with not having a valid driver's license and possession of alcohol by a minor at 4:15 p.m. May 24 at Grand Avenue and Industrial Drive.
Resisting arrest
Vanessa E. Whitehead, 22, whose last known address is in the 100 block of Fellows Court, was charged with resisting arrest and attempting to obstruct identification at 9:59 a.m. May 23 in the 300 block of West Butterfield Road.
Identity theft
• Someone paid two ComEd bills from another person's bank account between 7 a.m. March 26 and 7 a.m. April 24 in the 400 block of North Ridgeland Avenue.
• A Sears credit card was opened in another person's name and $322.47 was charged on it Oct. 5 in the 800 block of North Kenilworth Avenue.
• Unauthorized purchases were made on a Chase credit card at gas stations, AutoZone and Dick Sporting Goods after the card was lost between 7 p.m. May 21 and 4:32 p.m. May 22 in the 500 block of North Indiana Street.
• An Elmhurst man reported his social security number may have been stolen at the advice of the IRS at 6:17 p.m. May 5 in the 200 block of South Kenilworth Avenue.
• An Elmhurst man reported someone used his name to open a DirecTV account with an outstanding balance of $352 at 3 p.m. May 8 in the 400 block of Dorchester Place.
• An Elmhurst woman reported someone made unauthorized purchases of about $500 and $600 on her Target Visa card between 12:01 a.m. May 1 and 3 p.m. May 21 in the 700 block of South York Street.
• An Elmhurst woman reported someone made unauthorized transactions with her MB Financial bank card between 12:01 a.m. May 10 and 12 p.m. May 24 in the 400 block of North Willow Road.
Theft, burglary
• Someone tried to steal a bra at 5:26 p.m. May 19 in the 300 block of Route 83, but threw it at security when confronted and fled.
• Several items were stolen from inside a home between noon Feb. 12 and noon May 5 in the 200 block of Claremont Street.
• Nichole Johns, 20, of the 900 block of North York Street, was charged with retail theft and was found to be wanted out of Bedford Park for a retail theft warrant at 1:47 a.m. May 21 at York Street and Grand Avenue. She also had a no bond warrant out of Cook County for traffic offenses.
• Someone forced entry through the front door of a home and stole a diamond ring, laptop, Rolex watch and a small television between 6:45 a.m. and 3:46 p.m. May 21 in the 300 block of North Oaklawn Avenue.
• Kristin V. Arbor, 47, of the 300 block of West Wilson Street, was charged with retail theft at 3:44 p.m. May 23 in the 300 block of South Route 83 after stealing about $300 worth of clothing.
• William C. Jensen, 48, of the 700 block of North Industrial Drive, was charged with retail theft at 9:27 a.m. May 13 in the 600 block of North York Street.
• Christian Quintana, 20, of the 300 block of East Dickens Avenue, Northlake, was charged with retail theft at 3:01 p.m. May 16 in the 300 block of Route 83 after stealing a tie and watch, totaling $44.89.
• A 32G gold 5s iPhone was reported stolen from an unlocked locker between 2:33 and 3:20 p.m. May 23 in the 100 block of West Butterfield Road.
• A Capital One credit card was stolen from inside a parked car and more than $300 of unauthorized purchases charged on it between 12:01 a.m. May 20 and 8 a.m. May 22 in the 200 block of East Gladys Avenue.
• A Milwaukee brand Sawzall was stolen from inside a car between 12:30 and 6 a.m. May 24 in the 900 block of South Cambridge Avenue. The Sawzall was found on the ground close by.
• A purse containing $60 cash, black framed reading glasses, credit cards and an Illinois driver's license was reported stolen at 7:12 p.m. May 24 in the 300 block of South Route 83.
• Prescription medication was stolen from a bathroom medicine cabinet during a birthday party between 3:30 and 7:50 p.m. May 24 in the 200 block of West Grantley Avenue.
• An orange and white Husqvarna backpack-style life glass blower valued at $300 was stolen from an open tailgate between noon and 1:50 p.m. May 13 at Elm and Fremont avenues.
• A spare tire was stolen from underneath a Ford Econoline van at 10:09 a.m. May 15 in the 200 block of West Brush Hill Road.
• A silver Jaguar XK and a gray Lexus IS 250 were stolen at 11:39 p.m. May 15 in the 300 block of West Lake Street.
• A pack of Newport cigarettes and one cigar, totaling $9.37, were stolen at 12:19 a.m. May 19 in the 1000 block of North York Street.
• Someone pried open a rear door to gain entry to a home and stole miscellaneous jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash from a shoe box in a closet between 8 a.m. and 9:15 p.m. May 17 in the 100 block of Fellows Court.
Criminal damage to property
• A black wire fence was reported damaged and mangled in several places between 9 p.m. May 24 and 9 a.m. May 26 in the 400 block of South Kenilworth Avenue.
• A car was keyed between 5 p.m. May 22 and 9:30 a.m. May 26 in the 300 block of East Fullerton Avenue.
• A glass window was reported broken and a small amount of blood found on a freight elevator tile floor at 7:27 p.m. May 26 in the 0 to 100 block of Elm Creek Drive.
• A car was scratched between 10 a.m. May 2 and 10:30 a.m. May 12 in the 100 block of South York Road after the car's owner exchanged notes with a neighbor about parking the car.
• Five small, one-inch scratches were found on the front passenger door of a squad car at 11 p.m. May 11 in the 100 block of East First Street.
• A woman reported hearing a loud noise while driving south on Myrtle Avenue near First Street and found her passenger side mirror hanging when she stopped her car at 9:15 p.m. May 16. She also saw someone pick something up on the west side of Myrtle Avenue and walk to a house.
• Someone egged a home and gold Mercury parked in a driveway between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. May 17 in the 800 block of South Cedar Avenue.
Property lost
• An Illinois driver's license was reported lost between 6 p.m. May 14 and 7 p.m. May 20 in the 100 block of East First Street.
• A Louis Vuitton bi-fold wallet containing a Florida driver's license and miscellaneous cards was lost between 4 p.m. May 15 and 3:54 p.m. May 16 in the 100 block of South Prospect Avenue.
Property found
• A Red Schwinn boy's bike with pegs in the front and back was found at 9:30 a.m. May 19 in the 400 block of North Oaklawn Avenue.
• A gray hooded sweatshirt, yellow Incrediball ball, pink 13-inch bat and a gray Mongoose Ledge girl's mountain bike were found at 1 a.m. May 20 in the 100 block of West Madison Street.
• A red and black Huffy Stone Mountain bicycle was found at 2:39 a.m. May 25 in the 100 block of North York Street.
