Dr. Chung Rim joins Advocate Medical Group

BARRINGTON – Dr. Chung Rim, a family physician, has joined Advocate Medical Group.

Rim will be seeing patients at the Advocate Medical Group practice at 2284 County Line Road, Algonquin.

He studied medicine at Faculdade de Medicina Funcacao do ABC University in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He completed an internship at St. Andrew Municipal Hospital in Brazil and a surgical residency at University of Campinas in Brazil and St. Mary of the Nazareth in Chicago. Rim is fluent in English, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. He is board certified in family medicine and is accepting patients.

“I enjoy the interaction I have with patients and their families as well as educating them on their health care choices,” Rim said of his philosophy of care in a news release.
