• Sheila Lynn Benbennick, 26, of the 600 block of Medford Drive, South Elgin, was charged Tuesday, May 13, with retail theft for reportedly stealing a $28 styling product from Focas Hair Salon, 870 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

• Lindsay Erin Rienton, 36, of the 200 block of West South Street, Elburn, was charged Wednesday, May 14, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent and improper lane use.
