Lyons Township High School students advance to Scholastic Bowl Sectional

LA GRANGE – The Lyons Township High School Scholastic Bowl Team announced students will advance on to the sectional tournament after winning the regional tournament Monday.

Scholastic Bowl, played similarly to Jeopardy, is a fast paced game where teams try to answer questions in many categories, including social studies, language arts and mathematics.

LT's team, which placed second in its conference, consists of the following members: Michael Forberg, David Bielski, Jack Brogan, Ash Busse, Steven Campbell, Denis Keljalic, Thomas Kiely, Marko Kostich, Jack McDermott, Andrew Schiek, Matt Benz, Mary Claire Cox, John Fatora, Clare Mikulski, Rory O’Donnell, Joe Okkema, Sam Okkema, Jake Rohrbacher and Tim Mikulski.
