Elmhurst family charged after police allegedly find cocaine

ELMHURST – Five family members have been charged after police allegedly found cocaine at 811 North Indiana Street, according to an Elmhurst Police Department report.

Donald J. Sullivan, 49, Gina M. Sullivan, 46, Donald M. Sullivan, 22, and Gregory T. Sullivan, 38, of the 800 block of North Indiana Street were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and transported to DuPage County Jail on Jan. 28.

Police made the discovery while executing a search warrant as part of an investigation into the sales of illegal drugs.

Donald J., Donald M. and Gregory Sullivan also were charged with possesion of drug paraphernalia. In addition Donald M. Sullivan was charged with possession of marijuana.

Geno T. Sullivan, 21, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest before being released on bond.

Officers recovered 27 grams of cocaine, 2 ounces of a cocaine cutting agent, a drug scale and bags commonly used to package narcotics for sale. Police also found Hydrocodone, Xanax, marijuana and numerous drug paraphernalia items in the home in addition to $1,848 in cash which was seized for drug forfeiture, according to the report.
