CARY – Spectrum Retirement Communities has opened its first community in Illinois, Three Oaks Assisted Living in Cary.
Located at 1055 Silver Lake Road, the 80-unit community provides assisted living and memory care to seniors with all the amenities and services of a fine hotel. The community welcomed its first residents on May 21, its official move-in day, and is currently taking reservations for a limited number of available apartments.
“Our staff has met with every resident and the family to identify the services they need to enjoy an active, fulfilling daily life as independently as possible,” said Keun Lee, executive director.
Residences, which range from studio-sized suites to two-bedroom, two-bath 1,000-square-foot duplex units, are designed to maximize independence, health, security, and peace of mind, while also supporting those seniors that need more assistance. The Three Oaks community features on-site personal care services and licensed providers offer physical rehabilitation, speech and occupational therapies, and monthly health screenings.

Lifestyle amenities include outdoor gardening areas, a resource library with computer area, a full-service salon and day spa, a theater, and a gourmet kitchen for resident use, wellness center with TechnoGym exercise equipment along with Spectrum’s signature “At Your Service” hospitality.
Three Oaks will employ approximately 30 team members, who will help residents lead fulfilling lives in their new home.
