Jennifer Freeman, 32, of Sterling, works part time as a service clerk at Walgreens in Sterling. She attends Western Illinois University, and will earn her degree in elementary education when she graduates in May. She has a son, Drew, 7. Her mother is Connie Freeman of Rock Falls, and she has three brothers: Michael, 42, of Franklin Grove; Brian, 39, of Davis Junction and Scott, 35, of Rock Falls. She has one sister, Kristin, 33, of Freeport. Her father, Daniel Freeman, died of lung cancer a few years ago.
Favorite food: Mexican.
Favorite local restaurant: Kelly’s.
Favorite movie: “Fools Rush In.”
Favorite sports teams: The Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.
What are your hobbies? Spending time with friends and family. I am also addicted to Zumba. I started taking classes a couple of years ago.
Where did you go to school? I graduated from Newman Central Catholic High School in 1998. I earned my associate degree from Sauk Valley Community College in 2009.
How would your friends describe you? Outgoing, funny, caring.
What do you like best about Sterling? My friends and family are here when I need support.
If you could visit any one place, where would it be and why? Italy. I always thought it was beautiful.
If you could trade places with anyone, who would it be and why? Angelina Jolie. I would like to live a day with Brad Pitt.
What is an interesting fact about yourself? I’ve always wanted to be on Broadway. I love singing and dancing. Also, I used to pretend I was Oprah and have guests I would interview when I was younger.
