Geneva Police Reports

•  Beth Marie Brower, 19, of the 100 block of South Third Street, St. Charles, was charged Friday, Nov. 11, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and not more than 2.5 grams of marijuana.

•  Craig D. Wonsowski, 27, of the 5000 block of Oak Crest Drive, North Aurora, was charged Friday, Nov. 11, with driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 percent, speeding 70 miles an hour in a 45 zone a written warning for improper lane use.

• Music, DVDs, records and turntables valued at $2,500 were reported stolen, Thursday, Nov.  10, from a storage locker at Public Storage, 1040 E. State St.

• The rubber playground surface at Williamsburg Elementary School, 1812 Williamsburg Ave., was reported damaged Monday, Oct. 31. According to police reports, the surface under the slide was set on fire, causing $250 damage.

• Donald A. Kein, 50, of the 200 block of Ford Street, Geneva, was charged Thursday, Nov. 3 with disorderly conduct and making a loud annoying noise.

• Diamond stud earrings and a Tiffany bracelet were reported stolen in a burglary Friday, Nov. 4, from a house on the 800 block of East Side Drive. According to police reports, a rock was thrown through a rear glass door to get into the house. The value of the stolen items is still being determined.

• A projector valued at $800 was reported stolen Monday, Nov. 7, from classroom H203 at Geneva High School, 416 McKinley Ave.

• A thermal imager and accessories valued at $2,700 was reported stolen Wednesday, Nov. 2, from Millard Refrigeration, 2088 Geneva Drive.

• Two TVs and DVD players valued at $1,550 were reported stolen Monday, Oct. 31, from a storage locker at Public Storage, 1040 E. State St.

• A locker at Public Storage, 1040 E. State St. was reported accessed and rummaged through on Sunday, Oct.  30.

•  Someone scratched the word "karma" several times on a 2003 Honda Accord on Sunday, Nov. 6, while it was parked on the 700 block of Illinois Street.

•  Eight cast-iron grates weighing 25 pounds each were reported stolen Tuesday, Nov. 1, from the base of the loading dock at Best Buy, 1876 S. Randall Road. Their estimated value as scrap metal is $25.

• Erik W. Schatz, 29, of the 100 block of Morning Glory Way, Elgin, was charged Sunday, Nov. 13, with public intoxication.

• Erica P. Smith, 23, of the 400 block of North River Street, Aurora, was charged Friday, Nov. 4, with battery.

• Paige M. Helregel, 24, of the 800 block of Ridge Drive, DeKalb, was charged Friday, Nov. 4, with driving under the influence,  driving with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 percent and improper lane use.
