Mrs. Adeline Eltrevoog, 79, of Morris, Ill., passed away Friday afternoon, Sept. 9, 2011, at Morris Hospital.
Funeral services were to be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St., Morris, with Pastor Steven Lombardo II officiating. Interment will follow at West Lisbon Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at Fruland Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 7, 1931, in Morris, she was the daughter of Andrew and Mathilde (Ness) Thompson.
She graduated from Newark High School with the Class of 1949.
Adeline was employed for several years as an operator with Illinois Bell Telephone in Morris.
Survivors are her children, David (Brenda) Eltrevoog of Mazon, Ill., Ronald (Cheryl) Eltrevoog of Morris, and Kristine Eltrevoog of Seneca, Ill.; three grandchildren, Tracy (Tom), Tonya and Holly; three great grandchildren, Tyler, Tynan and Tenley; one brother, Leo Thompson of Peru; one sister, Beverly Almeda of Villa Park; several nieces and nephews; and a close cousin, Shirley Leopold of Morris.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Gary "Wege" Eltrevoog.
