Mr. Larry R. Corwin, 54, Morris, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, June 14, 2011, at his home with his loving wife by his side.
Born July 17, 1956, in Joliet, Ill., Larry was the son of Nolan S. and Neva (Reynolds) Corwin. He received his education in the Morris schools and graduated from Morris Community High School with the class of 1974.
Larry married the love of his life, Maria G. Webber, on Feb. 26, 1982, at the home of her parents in Morris.
He was best known for his employment with Brandt's Body Shop in Morris. In 2000, he and his wife owned and operated Fresh Look Painting Company in Morris until his retirement in 2010.
His greatest pleasures in life were fishing, camping, boating on the Illinois River, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of more than 29 years, Maria; three children, Tina Corwin, Keith Corwin and Tyler Corwin; four grandchildren, Alyssa Kingman, Dylan Koche, Aubree Corwin and Adalyn Corwin; his mother, Neva Corwin; two sisters, Pamela (Steve) Ward and Connie Enger, both of Morris; brother, Bernard Corwin, all of Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his father on April 16, 2011.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011, until the time of Celebration of Life services at 7 p.m. at U. C. Davis & Sons Funeral Home Ltd., 301 W. Washington St., Morris.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
The preferred form of remembrance would be memorial gifts to the family for distribution to local charities of their choosing at a later date.
