Danielle Devine, 19, of Sterling, is a certified nursing assistant at KSB Hospital, and a mortuary science major at Sauk Valley Community College. She is the daughter of John and Debbie Devine of Sterling. Danielle has three brothers, Chris Devine, 32, of Aurora, and Gregg Devine, 27, and Geoff Devine, 28, both of Sterling; a sister, Bridgette Oester, 30, and a niece and nephew, all of Aurora.

On-the-job lesson: Be kind to everyone.

Alma mater: I graduated in 2009 from Newman Central Catholic High School.

Oughta be a law: There’d be no speeding tickets.

Hearts: Hanging out with friends, visiting family, “Modern Family” and “Teen Mom.”

Heroes: My parents, and my late uncle, Joel Francque.

First job: I worked at County Market in Sterling as a cashier when I was 16. I liked it.

First car: A 1997 Nissan Maxima when I was 16.

Phobia: Feet.

Guilty pleasure: Texting.
