ROCK FALLS – Andrew T. Davenport, 25, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.
Andrew was born Oct. 29, 1984, in Sterling, the son of Larry B. and Renee L. (Montalbetti) Thompson. He was employed by American Quality Fence, Rock Falls, for about 10 years.
Andrew married Tabetha S. Peikert on July 26, 2008, in Rock Falls. He was a baptized member of Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls. Andrew enjoyed bowling, football, and basketball, and especially coaching his son’s tee-ball team, the Blue Jays.
Survivors include his wife, Tabetha Davenport of Rock Falls; one daughter, Aliyah Ann Marie Davenport at home; one son, Johnathan Thomas Davenport at home; his mother and stepfather, Renee (Kevin) O’Donoghue of Dixon; his father, Larry Thompson of Rock Falls; two sisters, Autum (Keith) Persico of Rock Falls and Candice (Shawn) Christiansen of Dixon; one brother, Brett (Stephanie) Thompson of Nelson; paternal grandparents, Richard and Beverly Thompson of Tennessee; special grandmother, Ruth Masini of Rock Falls; special friends, Jason Williett and Jeff Sommers, both of Rock Falls; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dale and Ruth Adair; and one niece, Breanna Goff.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks officiating. Cremation rites will then be accorded. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
