JOLIET — Mrs. Marilyn J. Cerovac, 80, at rest Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at Tezak’s Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Church in Channahon.
Private interment will be at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at Tezak’s Home to Celebrate Life in Joliet.
Survivors include loving children, Michael (Deb) Cerovac, Cindy (Michael ) Siron, Lori (Dale) Gilbertson, Daniel (Rosann) Cerovac, Kathy (Mark) Stokke and John (Lina) Cerovac; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Claridge, Tony (Heather) and Dominic Cerovac, Christian Siron, Alissa (Michael) Pollock, Katie and Nicholas Munchalfen, Alex and Kelsey Cerovac, Tommy, Kris and Melissa Stokke; great-grandchildren, Eban and Kylee Cerovac, Marisa, Hailey and Allison Claridge and Finley Stokke Harms; brother, Bob (Delores) Bolan; sisters-in-law, Olga (Charles) Caley and Rosemary (Late Robert) Cerovac; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cerovac (2006); granddaughter, Danielle Munchalfen (1995); parents, Michael and Myrtle (Eddy) Bolan; and sisters, Margaret Gergovich, Shirley Kinzler and Harriet Boldt Tijan.
Born in Joliet, Marilyn was a life-long resident of the Joliet-Plainfield area.
Marilyn was a kind and gentle soul who found comfort in her Rosary and prayer books.
Marilyn’s family would like to extend a special thank you for the loving care given by the Courtyard of Loyalton and Joliet Area Hospice Home.
