Stacey Baker, 38, is an insurance account representative for State Farm Insurance agent Jack Spencer in Rock Falls. She sells insurance, does secretarial duties and more at the office, where she has worked for 22 years. Stacey lives in Rock Falls with her husband, Matt Baker, 39, and two sons, T.J. Teske, 17, and Brady Baker, 6. She is the daughter of Richard and Mary Dirks of Rock Falls, and has one brother, Mike Dirks, 35, of Sterling.

On-the-job lesson: Patience and working hard.

Alma mater: I graduated in 1989 from Rock Falls High School, and I got my associate degree in applied science and office administration from Sauk Valley Community College.

Philosophy: Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Oughta be a law: I'd provide health care for everyone.

Hearts: Watching my son play basketball, photography, sledding, swimming, going out to supper as a family and watching "CSI: Miami" and "Days of Our Lives."

Darts: Cleaning.

Haunts: The Wisconsin Dells and my sister's farm.

Heroes: My parents. As you get older and realize how difficult it is to raise kids, you realize why they did what they did.

First job: I worked at the Dairy Dream in Rock Falls when I was 15. I was a cashier and made ice cream. I liked it.

First car: A Pontiac Sunfire when I was 18 or 19.

People say I look like: My friend, Bonnie Matthews.

Phobias: Heights and being alone.

Guilty pleasures: Sweets and shopping.

In the dictionary next to: Friendly.

Trading places: I'd like to be a teacher.

Trading spaces: I'd like to visit Cancun or Hawaii to see the beautiful waters.

Best thing about Rock Falls: It's a smaller community.
