DIXON – A Lombard man was sentenced to 4 years of probation after pleading guilty to a single charge of child pornography for filming three teen boys while they showered at his Sublette cabin this summer.
Robert L. Lauesen, 47, a longtime Lombard youth bowling coach, was given 127 days of credit for time served in Lee County Jail.
In exchange for his Dec. 16 guilty plea, Lee County prosecutors dropped two charges of child pornography.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Department, Lauesen took the boys to his trailer in Woodhaven Lakes, a private, gated recreational camping resort in early August.
While waiting to take a shower, one of the boys found a TV and VCR under a pile of pillows and blankets in Lauesen’s bedroom. On the screen was an image of what looked like the trailer’s shower.
Sheriff’s deputies later found a palm-sized camera hidden behind items on the bathroom counter.
