A Grundy County Grand Jury last week indicted McKinley Horton, 66, of Twilight Drive, on two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. Both are Class X felonies.
Horton was charged with two acts on July 14 involving a girl under 17.
Morris Det. Alicia Steffes testified, and bond was continued at $10,000. Horton has filed a motion to reduce his bond.
The grand jury Wednesday also returned indictments against 24 other defendants.
This was the last meeting of this grand jury panel. A new grand jury panel will be seated in September.
Grand jurors meet for six months, return indictments in cases presented by the state's attorney's office, and inspect the county jail.
Julianna Chambers, 37, 6045 Peart Road, was indicted on four counts of felony DUI, one count of felony driving with a revoked license and leaving the scene of an accident.
She was arrested July 18 on Illinois 47, in the construction zone by Spring Road. Chambers collided with the rear of a stopped vehicle, then entered the construction area on the red light and struck two other vehicles.
The indictment charges Chambers was intoxicated and driving with a revoked license and without having liability insurance at the time of the incident.
The revoked license charge was upgraded to a felony because of a prior conviction, Aug. 25, 2004, in Grundy County.
Deputy Victor Elisa testified, and bond was continued at $1,000 cash.
Matthew Wantroba, 22, 29th Road, Seneca, was indicted on two counts of aggravated battery. He was charged June 13 with pushing EMT Dustin Campbell and pushing Deputy Michael James.
Deputy James testified, and bond was continued at $750.
Kristin Wiekert, 28, 6075 Gun Club Road, was indicted on four counts of theft from Pam's Academy of Dance during March, April and May 2008 and January and February 2009. She was charged with taking unauthorized possession of more than $300 currency in each count.
Det. Eric Werden testified, and bond was continued at $500 cash.
Katie Smego, 19, Joliet, was indicted on two counts of burglary. She was charged May 14 with entering Healthsmart Fitness Center, 110 Waverly St., and a vehicle owned by Dave Tatum, parked in the Goold Park lot.

Wayne Biros, 23, 539 Cermack, Braidwood, was indicted for the Jan. 29 theft of a desktop personal computer and LCD television set from the Walmart Supercenter.

John Mores, 33, 301 Main St., Braceville, was indicted for burglarizing the Casey's General Store in Braceville on July 6. He was charged with breaking the glass in the front door to gain entry.
Deputy Brett Black testified before the grand jury, and bond was continued at $1,000 cash.
Marcellus Pretlow, 23, 2316 Ashland, was indicted for unlawful use of a debit card. He was charged with using a Chase Bank Discover card to buy gasoline on April 22.

Isabelle Kavanaugh, 37, 1420 Kettleson, Minooka, was indicted for retail theft and forgery.
She was charged with presenting a Harris Bank check for $74.06 signed by Isabelle Carpenter July 14 at the Channahon Walgreens. She was also charged with retail theft for taking numerous items from the Channahon Walgreens on July 14.
Channahon Det. Kevin McRaven testified and bond was continued at $500 cash.
James Wiggins, 34, Crest Hill, was indicted for trespassing to the Katie Woods property at 301 Daly Street on July 21. The charge is a felony because he knew people were present in the residence at the time.
Morris Officer Charles Newton testified before the grand jury and bond was continued at $500 cash.
Kenneth Ruff, 53, Plainfield, was indicted for deceptive practice. He was charged with presenting a check to Morris Trailer Sales on March 18 for $5,040.75, which was not paid by Harris Bank.
Grundy County Det. Dan Winchell testified and bond was continued at $500 cash.
Brian Cayabyab, 29, Chicago, and Michael Caceres, 28, Schiller Park were indicted for possession of 2,000 to 5,000 grams of marijuana with intent to deliver. They were arrested by Illinois State Police near Division Street and Green Acres Drive.
Trooper Christopher Wilkes testified and bond was continued at $15,000 for Caceres and $10,000 for Cayabyab.
Timothy Crowe, 32, Moline, was indicted for possession of 30 to 500 grams of marijuana. He was arrested by Illinois State Police on June 7. Trooper S. Dagner testified and bond was continued at $1,000 cash.
Monica Gonzalez, 29, 419 Clark, Verona, was indicted for possession of alprazolam (Xanax) on June 19.
Deputy Victor Elias testified and bond was set at $500 cash.
Angel Salto,19, 1224 Wabena, Minooka; Joan Salto,18, 1224 Wabena; and Ryan Ewald, 344 Coneflower, Minooka, were indicted for damaging a Chevrolet Suburban owned by Anthony Miller on July 21. Four windows were broken in the vehicle at 242 Prairie Ridge Drive.
Angel Salto was also indicted for aggravated battery for driving a vehicle at Miller, injuring one leg.
Minooka Det. Ryan MacDonald testified and bond was continued at $2,000 for Angel and Joan Salto and $500 for Ewald.
Keith Hawkins, 20, and Zhenia E. A. Buttry, 18, both of Morris, was indicted for criminal damage to property. They were charged with damaging a Grand Prix owned by Donald Surber on June 11 at 759 E. Washington St.
Sgt. John Severson testified and bond was continued at $100 cash for each.
Angel Toga-Ramos, 26, Joliet, was indicted for having a false Social Security card on June 12.
Minooka Officer Sean Wojtczak testified and bond was continued at $250 cash.
Edward Silva, 37, New Albany, Ind., was indicted for impersonating a police office on July 11 after a DUI arrest. He was charged with telling a Channahon officer he was with the Joliet Police Department.
Channahon Officer Michael Lazzari testified and bond was continued at $300 cash.
Roger King, 36, no address available, was indicted on two counts of obstructing justice. He was charged June 13 with giving a false name to Trooper J. A. Baudino knowing there were valid warrants for his arrest from Grundy and Will counties and that his driver's license was suspended.
Trooper Baudino testified before the grand jury and bond was continued at $100.
Donald Malone, 21, Goodfarm Road, Dwight, was indicted for escape. He was charged with removing an electronic home monitoring device and leaving the residence on May 22, after being released from the Department of Corrections.
Peoria Parole Agent Jim Stiers Sr. testified and bond was continued at $500 cash.
Michael Lee Warner,19, who gave an address of Kangley, Ill., was indicted for failure to register as a sex offender. He was charged with failing to register with Morris police in October 2008, within three days of no longer having a fixed residence.
