Troy 30-C school board recognizes January 2022 Students of the Month

Students selected for their consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class

The Troy Community School District 30-C school board recognized its January Students of the Month at the district’s February school board meeting.

“Students were selected on the basis of consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class,” according to a news release from Troy 30-C.

Students of the Month are William B. Orenic Intermediate School sixth graders Justyn Friday, Ella Kennedy, Nethaneel Russell and Ainsley Wellman.

Troy Middle School Students of the Month are seventh graders Vera Barbour, Annaiyeh Deltoro-Parlich, Caitlin Garrett and Mia Spiker. T.M.S. eighth grade Students of the Month are Ryan Bergin, Erin Hagstrom, Valerie Mantia and Dylan Trainor. Robert Asiamah, a December 2021 Student of the Month, also was recognized.

“For the honor, the students received Student of the Month certificates and pins, a Student of the Month pencil and a certificate from Big Frog Custom T-shirts for a custom-printed Student of the Month shirt,” the release said.
