Foundation makes contribution to Lanark Veterans Memorial

LANARK – The Lanark Area Community Foundation presented $500 to the VFW Post 4857 for improvements to the Veterans Memorial at the heart of the Lanark Cemetery. The presentation was made during the Old Settlers Day parade. The donation will provide for new U.S. flags. The remainder will go to the memorial wall project.
