Jammin’ on the Rock returning to Rock Falls on May 6

A socially distant crowd of more than 100 people spread out around RB&W District Riverfront Park in Rock Falls for a special Nov. 20 Jammin' on the Rock event. Now the stage has a roof. (Michael Krabbenhoeft)

ROCK FALLS – The Jammin’ on the Rock free concert series kicks off from 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 6 at the RB&W Park, 201 E. Second St.

Concerts will be held the first Thursday of the month through August, and are open to all ages. Brito’s Grill and Triple P BBQ food trucks will open at 5 p.m.

There is plenty of room to social distance; bring lawn chairs.

Acoustic, rock, bluegrass, country, or gospel or other bands or musicians are welcome; register with sponsor Rock Falls Tourism at 815-622-1106 or director@visitrockfalls.com.

New this year: The park’s stage has a roof. Still, in case of bad weather, the event will be canceled.
