The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that culvert replacement work on U.S. 52 in Lee County near Amboy will begin Thursday, Sept. 4.

The work zone is located just south of U.S. 30.

One lane of U.S. 52 will be open, and traffic will be controlled by temporary signals. This project is expected to be completed by the end of November.
