Layla Pelan of Rochelle was recently named to the dean’s list at the University of Cincinnati.
The 2023 Rochelle Township High School summa cum laude graduate is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice and a minor in sports administration. She has made the dean’s list the past five semesters and works as a peer facilitator.
