Woman wanted by authorities on multiple charges apprehended in Huntley

Huntley woman considered a fugitive for more than a year

After being considered a fugitive for over a year, a 31-year-old woman was taken into custody Wednesday in Huntley.

Megan Davison, of the 11600 block of Douglas Avenue in Huntley, is facing multiple charges spanning two counties, according to a news release.

She was apprehended by members of the U.S. Marshals Service’s Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force at 9:30 a.m., according to the release.

Davison was wanted out of Kane County for two counts of aggravated battery to a merchant, both class 3 felonies.

Davison had an additional warrant for retail theft out of Kane County and was also wanted out of Kendall County for retail theft, a class 4 felony, and burglary, a class 2 felony, as well as for failing to appear in court on a retail theft case, according to the release.

She was a fugitive since November 5th, 2019, according to the release.

Davison is currently being held at the Kane County Jail.
