ShadowView Brewing in Woodstock temporarily closes after employee tests positive for COVID-19

ShadowView Brewing in Woodstock temporarily closed after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19, they announced on Facebook Wednesday.

“At ShadowView Brewing we take the health and well-being of our staff and customers very seriously,” ShadowView said in its post.

The employee had very little contact with the public or other employees, ShadowView said, but the brewery is still closing down the operation for the time being, while it “thoroughly” cleans and sanitizes the premises, and gives staff time to get tested and quarantine, which they may have to do depending on their results.

An owner or representative of ShadowView could not immediately be reached for comment.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and look forward to serving you in a healthy manner in the new year,” ShadowView said on Facebook.
