A Woodstock man is facing charges including driving under the influence after crashing his car into a Woodstock home, within inches of where a resident of the home was sitting last week, court records show.
Keven Walton, 22, of Woodstock, is charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license suspended, Class A misdemeanors, and petty offenses of failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash and possession of open alcohol by the driver, according to court records.

Walton had a blood-alcohol concentration level of 0.22, according to records filed in McHenry County court. That’s nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08.
The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded to a call at 7:58 p.m. on March 26 to Applewood Lane, where they arrived to find a car that had “driven into a residence ... causing moderate damage to both the vehicle and the home,” Public Information Officer Alex Vucha said in a news release.
An elderly woman was sitting “within inches” of where the car crashed into the home, but was not injured, Vucha said.
The home remained habitable.
In a police report, officers wrote that they observed Walton having “slowed and slurred” speech, “balance issues” and “multiple indicators of impairment.”
Walton was released from jail with conditions Friday and is scheduled to appear in court on April 9, records show.
Walton is also facing charges filed in December for driving on a suspended license and speeding, for which he has has pleaded not guilty, according to court records.
