Hairbanger’s Ball, an 80s hair rock tribute band, will be kicking off the string of live acts with the band’s fourth visit to Celebrate La Salle. The group will be performing 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday.
On Friday, visitors will be treated to 303, a classic rock band, from 5 to 8 p.m. followed by Libido Funk Circus, a Chicago dance and party band, who will perform from 8 to 11 p.m.
Saturday’s performers will be the Chicago classic rock / modern band, Lupo, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and open for the 7 Bridges, who will take the stage from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
The Nashville-based 7 Bridges recreates the experience of an Eagles concert by not relying on backing tracks or harmonizers.
Following Saturday night’s festivities, visitors on Sunday will be treated to the International Polka Hall of Famer, Steve Meisner, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The weekend festivities also will include a daily kids’ carnival, car show, daily craft vendor fair and the Celebrate La Salle 5K Race on Friday.
The kids’ carnival will be open daily beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Closing times for the carnival will vary by the day.
The carnival will also hold wristband specials for $25 from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
