Maggie Richetta doubled, drove in two runs and scored twice, while Maddie Weger and Tori Balma each had a pair of runs.

Kara Staley tossed a compete game, allowing two earned runs on six hits while striking out 10 batters an walking none.

Lesleigh Maynard went 3-for-3 with a home run, four RBIs and four runs Thursday as the Storm routed the Clippers in a non-conference game in Amboy.

Madison Smith hit a pair of doubles, drove in four runs and scored twice for BV (2-0), while Tyra Sayler was 1-for-2 with two runs and an RBI and pitched three scoreless innings, allowing one hit, striking out five batters and walking one.

Earlville 16, Ashton-Franklin Center (4 inn.)

Paige Marks drove in a run, scored four runs and was pitched Thursday to lead the Red Raiders to a non-conference victory in Ashton.

Marks allowed one hit, struck out five batters and walked one.

Brynn Guelde was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs for the Red Raiders, while Emily Harness doubled, drove in two runs and scored a run.

Colin Nave went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run Thursday to help the Bruins to a non-conference victory in Peru.

Brendan Pillion was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run for St. Bede (1-2), while Tyreke Fortney doubled and scored twice.

Auggie Weisbrock earned the win in relief, allowing two earned runs on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks in 2 1/3 innings, while Dan Dugosh pitched a scoreless, hitless seventh for the save.

Colton Williams and P.J. Ehrat each had a hit, a run and an RBI for the Mallards (3-1).

Mason Guarnieri took the loss on the mound.

The Red Raiders fell behind by seven runs in the first inning en route to a non-conference loss Thursday in Ashton.

Bryar Keller had the only hit for the Red Raiders (0-1), while Garrett Cook was the losing pitcher.
