Letter: Thanks to those who supported Helmar Lutheran Church Food Pantry drive-thru

To the Editor:

Thank you to everyone who came out to help support the Helmar Lutheran Church Food Pantry drive-thru Kumla Fundraiser on Jan. 16. We served over 500 generous people, which in turn will allow us to purchase 10 truckloads of food for 100 families. We want to thank local publications that you are seeing this printed in, as they assured our success by giving free publicity. We continue to be amazed at the compassion of our community to help their neighbor’s in need.  Thank you.
