Elijah J. Scott, 25, of La Salle, was picked up on an original La Salle County warrant charging him with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver following a disturbance at 8:37 p.m. Monday at Ninth and Joliet streets, La Salle police said. Bond was set at $250,000.

Vernon A. Andrews, 35, of Joliet, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (unlawful possession of cannabis) Monday on Columbus Street at Interstate 80, Ottawa police said. Andrews was additionally charged with unlawful possession of cannabis by a passenger, police said.

Michael A. Rideout, 31, of Streator, was picked up on a Grundy County warrant for failure to appear (DUI) Tuesday at State and Van Buren streets, Ottawa police said.

Jackie M. Ashby, 20, of Augusta Ark., was picked up on a Bureau County warrant for failure to appear (traffic) at 4:59 p.m. Saturday, Peru police said.

A 16-year-old Earlville boy was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis by a person younger than 21 at 10:35 a.m. Friday at Safe School (Old Roosevelt School), 2233 Sixth St., Peru police said.

Ricky A. Dearing, 57, of Worthington, Ind., was charged with retail theft at 8:05 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, Peru police said.

Shaun C. Carnes, 42, of Tonica, was charged with driving while suspended at 7:15 p.m. Thursday on North 2551st Road (Ben Samek Road) and Route 251, Peru police said.

A 17-year-old La Salle boy was charged with possession of cannabis (30 grams and under) and disobeying a stop sign at 4:19 p.m. Thursday at 12th and Walnut streets, Peru police said.

A 17-year-old Oglesby boy turned himself in to Peru police on a non-custodial youth warrant at 8:09 p.m. Nov. 10, Peru police said.

Payton A. Palmer, 18, of Spring Valley; Tyler B. Day, 19, of Dalzell; Jacob K. Mendez, 19, of Spring Valley; Kurt W. Russel, 19, of Spring Valley; Kaleb J. Petrus, 18, of Spring Valley and a 17-year-old Spring Valley boy all were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 7 at McDonald’s, 5251 Trompeter Road, Peru police said.

Syerra L. Rose, 20, Princeton, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (hit and run) at 12:14 a.m. Nov. 6, Peru police said.

Allen Tuck, 21, homeless, was charged with obstructing a peace officer at 9:59 a.m. Monday at 127 S. Everett St., Streator police said.

Samual Mays, 29, of Joliet, was charged with criminal trespass to state-supported property at 3:49 a.m. Monday at 501 W. Frech St., Streator police said.
