Oglesby police are investigating a residential burglary reported at 5:02 a.m. Saturday on East First Street. The victim reported a laptop, iPad, change and blank checks were taken. The loss was estimated at $735 with no checks forged as of Monday, police said.

Tony L. Morris, 60, of Princeton, was charged with retail theft at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, Peru police said.

Jason D. Bowman, 46, of Richmond, Ind., was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (DUI) and was additionally charged with speeding at 11:56 p.m. Friday at North 2551st (Ben Samek) Road and Route 251, Peru police said.

Jake K. Tonelli, 23, of La Salle, was charged with fleeing to elude at 10:22 p.m. Friday at Ninth and Marquette streets, La Salle police said.

Deshaun M. Cockream, 21, of Peru, was charged with no valid driver’s license at 12:22 a.m. Sunday at Third and Bucklin streets, La Salle police said.

Kristopher R. Mavis, 36, of La Salle, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear at 2:51 p.m. Saturday at the La Salle Police Department, La Salle police said.

Tyler Brockman, 30, of La Salle, and Daniel Starker, 44, and Shirley Stadler, 57, both of La Salle, all were charged with trespassing at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at a residence in the 800 block of O’Conor Avenue, La Salle police said.

Telesforo Guerra, 40, of Mendota, was charged with DUI at 3:47 a.m. Sunday at Main and Meriden streets, Mendota police said.

Johnny R. Arteaga, 50, of Mendota, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage at 6:31 p.m. Sunday at Washington Street and Indiana Avenue, Mendota police said.

Kobe M. Wilson, 21, of Ottawa, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (retail theft) Friday in the 100 block of Fern Street, Ottawa police said.

Kristyn N. Morrill, 30, of Ottawa, was picked up on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear (driving while suspended) Saturday in the 800 block of East Michigan Street, Ottawa police said.

Amanda K. Rogers, 29, of Ottawa, was charged with domestic battery Saturday in her residence, Ottawa police said.

Frank Vicidomine-Cohen, 42, of Ottawa, was charged with no valid driver’s license and speeding Monday at West Norris Drive and Terra Cotta Road, Ottawa police said.
