• Maurico J. Collins, 45, of La Salle, and Zachary C. Trumbauer, 28, of La Salle, were charged with disturbing the peace after a fight reported at at 11:37 a.m. Monday Third and Tonti streets, La Salle police said.
• Nicholas J. Tucker, 34, of La Salle, was charged with driving while license revoked, no insurance and improper use of registration at 11:04 p.m. Monday at Second and Marquette streets, La Salle police said.
• Gary R. Null, 35, homeless, was charged with driving while license suspended at 9:42 p.m. Monday on May Road at Interstate 80, La Salle police said.
• Kolton L. Davis, 30, of La Salle, was arrested 8:34 a.m. Saturday on the 4400 block of Hollerich Drive on a La Salle County warrant for a charge of domestic battery, Peru police said.
• Donald M. Arbisi, 72, of Dalzell, was cited 1:15 a.m. Sunday at Shooting Park Road and Peoria Street on complaints of driving under the influence, disobeying a traffic control device and driving in the wrong lane, Peru police said.
• Marisa A. Fraga, 25, of La Salle, was cited 11:35 p.m. Sunday at Seventh and Walnut streets on complaints of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage, Peru police said.
• Robert Danielson, 42, of Marseilles, was cited 1:23 p.m. Monday at Route 23 and McKinley Road in Ottawa on complaints of driving while license suspended, improper use of registration and uninsured motor vehicle, the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.
• Richard A. Flahaut, 33, of Ottawa, was arrested Saturday on the 100 block of West Stevenson Road on complaints of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to property, violation of bail bond conditions and a Livingston County failure to appear warrant on a charge of obstructing justice, Ottawa police said.
• Kennedy S. Stanley, 20, of Sheridan, was cited Saturday on the 900 block of Canal Street on a complaint of criminal trespass to state supported land, Ottawa police said.
• Melvin L. Smith, 31, of Ottawa, was cited Saturday at Somerset Drive at Bellevue on complaints of driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle, Ottawa police said.
• Marc W. Hunt, 53, of Ottawa, was cited Friday at 4041 Veterans Drive on complaints of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, Ottawa police said.
• Greg E. Gebhardt, 41, of Ottawa, was cited Friday at West Glover and Fort streets on a complaint of driving while license revoked, Ottawa police said.
• Mohamed Habayeb, 62, of Ottawa, was cited Friday on the 100 block of East Norris Drive on complaints of driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid registration and improper use of registration, Ottawa police said.
• Michael A. Franz, 21, of Ottawa, was cited Thursday on West Center and Christie streets on a complaint of driving while license suspended, Ottawa police said.
• Pedro Castillo-Ferrer, 30, of Joliet, was arrested 9:20 p.m. Friday on the 200 block of South Main Street on complaints of driving while license suspended, DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and a Grundy County warrant, Seneca police said. Castillo-Ferrer was taken to Grundy County Jail.
• Ralph L. Briggs, 61, of Marseilles, was arrested 4:20 p.m. Feb. 5 on East 29th and River roads on complaints of DUI, driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage, Seneca police said.
Fire calls
• Ottawa firefighters responded 1:25 p.m. Monday to 110 W. Jefferson St. for an activated alarm and smell of smoke. Contractors were testing a new HVAC unit and forgot to prevent the initial release of air from the unit entering the building’s vents, leading to a burning smell.
• At 1:56 p.m. Monday, Ottawa firefighters responded to 906 Canal St. for an alarm activated by cooking odors.
• Ottawa firefighters responded 7:59 p.m. Monday to 900 Paul St. for an alarm activated by cooking odors.
• At 3:50 p.m. Monday, Streator firefighters responded to 716 W. First St. for a report of smoke in a hallway from an electrical outlet. Streator firefighters were dispatched, but the call was in Grand Ridge’s fire district. Streator firefighters turned over the scene to Grand Ridge at their arrival. There was no fire or damage beyond the outlet.
• Streator firefighters responded 5:59 p.m. Monday to 202 W. Lincoln Ave. for an activated alarm. Firefighters found nothing unusual.
• At 9:59 a.m. Tuesday, Streator firefighters responded to 606 E. Morrell St. for an alarm activated by cooking.
