IVCC hosts virtual ag symposium

Online event set Monday, April 12

Illinois Valley Community College’s agriculture program will host a Virtual Ag Symposium via Zoom at 6 p.m. Monday to promote and celebrate agricultural innovation.

The free event features keynote speaker Matt Hudson, co-director of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Center for Digital Agriculture. His discussion will be titled “Digital Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Farming.”

Keynote speaker Miriam Hoffman, an IVCC alumna and eastern region vice president of the National FFA Organization, will present her speech, “Don’t Let the World Happen to You: How to Turn Disruption into Innovation.”
