The Ottawa Historical Preservation Commission tabled further discussion on the proposed demolition of 108 W. Madison St. until its April 15 meeting.
Building owner Mike Godfrey told the commission in November the building’s ground floor hasn’t been rented in a number of years and the building received damage during the Little City Building’s 2015 demolition.
The building is within Ottawa’s Historic District, which means Godfrey needs approval from both the Historic Preservation Commission and City Council before it can be torn down.
